Thomas Patrick O’Donohoe of New Milford was 82 when he passed away peacefully Thursday, January 29th. Born in Dublin, Ireland Thomas immigrated to Canada where he met and married his loving wife Monica (nee Thomas) in 1957. The couple moved to the United States settling in New Milford where they have lived since 1964. Before his retirement in 2002, Thomas was employed for Jaguar Cars of North America for 38 years, retiring as Technical Center Supervisor. He enjoyed being with his family and especially enjoyed bringing his children and grandchildren over to Ireland to experience their heritage in the Summer of 2010.
Thomas was the beloved husband of the late Monica (nee Thomas) O’Donohoe. He was the loving father of Nicholas O’Donohoe and his wife Carole and Anne Linkus and her husband Alexander. Thomas was survived by a brother Patrick O’Donoghue and his wife Theresa and predeceased by his sister Eva Griffin, and brothers Nicholas Donohoe and John Donohoe. He was the proud grandfather of Alex and Thomas Linkus and Jillian and Bryant O’Donohoe. Thomas was also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
