On December 7, 1985, Tom was united in marriage with Barbara A. Vander Linden in Pella, Iowa. They were blessed with three children, Ryan, Daniel and Jennifer. Tom was a production worker for the Maytag Company in Newton for 23 years. He had also worked at Manatt’s Inc. for 3 years and most recently Tom was working for Jeld-Wen Windows and Doors in Grinnell.
Tom died on February 20, 2020, at his home in Lynnville. He was 59. He was preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, Delbert Allison; and wife, Barbara Martin in 1994.
Those left to honor Tom’s memory are his children Ryan S. (Deborah) Martin of Prairie City, Daniel K. Martin of Knoxville and Jennifer M.
