Thomas “Mack” Espey, age 67 of Berry, passed away Sunday, December 30, 2018 at Hospice of West Alabama. Services will be Thursday, January 3, 2019 at 11:00 a.m. at Berry United Methodist Church with Rev.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Howard and Lucile Espey; brothers, Wiley Espey and Roy Wayne Espey; and sister, Blanche Swindle.
Mack is survived by his wife, Yvonne Handley Espey of Berry.
Mack was born in Fayette County and lived in Berry most of his life. He was a member of the Berry United Methodist Church. He retired from Chevron-North River Mine as an Underground Supervisor. Mack graduated from the University of Alabama in 1973 and was a true Alabama fan. He enjoyed many hobbies including: hunting, fishing, gardening, and cooking. Mack also enjoyed spending time with family and friends, cooking for others and traveling.
