Thomas Jack “Papa Jack” Corey, 86, of Newnan, husband of Doris Turner Corey, died Tuesday, November 7, 2017 at Avalon Health and Rehab. Born in Fulton County, December 2, 1930, he was a son of the late T.J. and Rosa Arnold Corey. He was a US Army Veteran and was retired from the transportation industry after many years of service. Mr. Corey was a member of Heatherwood Baptist Church. Surviving in addition to his wife of thirty-five years are a daughter, Bonnie Green and husband Greg; sons, Thomas J. Maddox and wife Ann; Danny Rose and wife Jackie; brother, William E. Corey and wife Janelle and five grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
