Mr. Thomas Heflin Askew, Jr. 73, a resident of Lanett, AL passed away Monday, April 11, 2022 at his residence.
Survivors include his wife, Wanda Hester Askew; children, Thomas H. Askew, III (Shelby) & Brandi Askew Quinton; two sisters, Barbara Rains (Bob) & Vicky Walden (Lamar); five grandchildren, Harlie Alls (Kirby), Jaime Quinton, Dallas Quinton, Adelaide Askew, & Hayden Quinton; four great-grandchildren, Rowynn Alls, Jackson Alls, Stella Quinton, & Stevie Alls.
Mr. Askew was preceded in death by his parents, Doris & Thomas Heflin Askew, Sr. and two sisters, Connie Shelnutt and Joan Tingle.
Mr. Askew was born in West Point, GA on August 12, 1948. He was a veteran of the U. S. Army and was of the Baptist faith.
