Thomas George Pappas

Our loving father, husband, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend, Thomas George Pappas, passed away on March 12, 2016 in Ogden, Utah. Born in Ogden on July 19, 1939 to parents, George Thomas Pappas and Maria Harames Pappas.

Thomas married the love of his life, Darline Braunberger Pappas on May 6, 1975 and they raised their four children together.

Thomas attended Ogden High School and graduated from Weber College. He worked for Hinckley Dodge in Ogden and retired after 35 years. He had his own Bail bond business that was run by all the family. Supported by his wife, Darline, Thomas helped create and became the first chairman of the Utah State Bail Bond Oversite Board. He helped organize the Utah Professional Bail Bond Association and was elected to be their first President. Also a member of Eagles and Elks.

Thomas loved his vacations with family and hunting with his sons. He loved to fish and camp with his family and kept a beautiful yard. He could not pass by anyone he knew without stopping to talk awhile. He sends a cheery farewell to all his many friends. He will be dearly missed.
