On Thursday morning, the ninth of November 9, 2017, Thomas (Tom) Forsyth Woodford ,75, passed away surrounded by his family at his home in Newnan, GA. He was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He is survived by his wife Grace, his two children Jim and his wife Dana of Newnan, and his daughter Heather of San Jose, CA.; four grandchildren SSGT Tyler Thomas Sullivan USAF, his granddaughters Kristin, Jessica, Kristina and Makayla, his three brothers, Jimmy, David and Eddie and several nieces and nephews. Tom was born June 16, 1942, in Ansonia, Connecticut and was an Airforce veteran, having served during the Cuban Missile Crisis. He also retired after fifteen years as a corrections officer with the Coweta County Sheriff’s Department. His easy smile and sense of humor will be sadly missed by all who knew him.
