Mr. Thomas Edward Leonard, age 73, beloved husband of Cecilie Rickard Leonard of Milford, passed away on Tuesday, April 18, 2006 in CT Hospice, Branford. Son of the late Thomas J. and Leota Buterbaugh Leonard, he was born on July 21,1932 in New Britain, CT. Tom was a dear and wonderful friend to many and will be missed by all. He was an avid boater and proud of his boat. Tom loved the water, enjoyed golfing and flying. He had a private pilots license for many years. He was a former member of the Elks Club and the Lyons Club. In addition to his wife, Mr. Leonard is survived by three loving daughters, Leslie Leonard of Tolland, Linda Moore of Arden, NC and Anne Ward of West Haven, six grandchildren, Kaitlyn and William Harris of Vernon, Jessica, Austin and Katherine Rippey of Arden, NC and Michael Ward of West Haven. He is also survived by his former wife and friend, Joanne Golemba and extended family. Mr. Leonard was predeceased by a daughter, Lisa Harris and a sister, Louise Leonard.
