Thomas E. Guarneri, 63, died Tuesday, September 30, 2014 in Select Specialty Hospital, Fort Wayne. He was born in New Haven, Connecticut, the son of the late Peter and Violet (Decker) Guarneri.
He graduated from Eastbrook High School with the class of 1969 and went on to study electrical engineering at ITT in Fort Wayne. He was employed with Wabash Electric as the Purchasing Manager until his retirement in 1991. Tom married Rhonda Morgan, on February 26, 1986, in Huntington.
Mr. Guarneri was a member of Grace Community Church, Marion and the National Watch Clock Collectors. He enjoyed repairing watches, attending flea markets, playing pool, and playing the drums.
Survivors include his wife Rhonda Guarneri, LaFontaine; a brother, Peter (Shirley) Guarneri, Marion; a sister, Susie (Decker), Converse; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Maryland Gillespie, and two brothers, Cecil Decker, and Francis Decker.
