Thomas Dale Starr of Waldron, Arkansas went to be with his Lord and Savior, Sunday, October 25, 2015 in Waldron, Arkansas. Tom was born March 23, 1946 in Waldron, Arkansas to James Thomas Starr and Christina Agusta (Mitchell) Starr.
Tom worked for the City of Fort Smith for 7 years and then went to work for the City of Waldron for the next 30 years. He retired as Public Works Director. Tom loved to hunt and was a member of the Arkansas Foxbeagle Association. He also loved to fish and could be found many mornings on City Lake with his friend Roy Vincent catching crappie. But most of all, Tom loved spending time with his family.
Tom leaves behind to cherish his memory, his loving wife Jean of the home, one daughter, Ronna Watts and husband Preston of Mena, Arkansas and one son, Tommy Gene Starr and wife cyan of Waldron, Arkansas. Papa will forever remain in the hearts of his 12 grandchildren and 3 great grandchildren. Tom is also survived by two sisters: Lela Martin of Amity, Arkansas and Ernistane Taff of Midland, Arkansas. Tom will missed by all that knew him and the many whose lives were impacted by him, including a host of extended family, many friends, co-workers and loved ones.
Tom was preceded in death by his parents, one son, Bradley Denney, two grandsons: Jonathan Taylor and Cory Starr, four sisters and three brothers.
