Details: Thomas Carroll Clark, Jr. Thomas Clark peacefully passed away in his home on 10/1/15, at the age of 95in the presence of his son Tom and daughter Cynthia. Born 6/6/20 in Hanover MD where he was raised on a farm. He lived in Anne Arundel County his entire life. He married the girl from across the street, Elaine Disney, in October of 1945 and they started their family in Linthicum where he was a member of Linthicum United Methodist Church. Thomas served on the building committee and also taught Sunday School at the Church. He was active with the Boy Scouts as a Webeloes Den Leader and was a leader with the Explorer Scouts. Thomas and his family moved to North Shore on the Magothy in 1962, where he remained until his death. He was very active in the community serving on numerous committees and was a member of Magothy United Methodist Church. He is preceded in death by his wonderful wife of 67 years, Elaine Disney Clark in 2012, a daughter, Diane Clark in 1969, one grandson, Thomas Clark IV in 2010 and his parents, Thomas Sr. & Beulah Clark. Thomas is survived by 3 children, Thomas Clark III (wife Christine) of Virginia, Patricia Krehenbrink (husband Thomas) of Delaware and Cynthia Parker (husband Thomas) of Glen Burnie. In addition he is survived by 7 grandchildren, 15 Great Grandchildren and 1 Great-Great Grandchild. Along with his immediate family are many other relatives including his sister Margaret Cross of Annapolis. Thomas served in the U.S. Army from July 1944 to June 1946. He was a Sergeant in the 320th Infantry Regiment, 35th Division, Company G and participated in the European Theater of Operation where he was a rifleman at the Battle of the Bulge and Bastogne. He graduated from Glen Burnie High School in 1937, then attended the University of Maryland for 2 years majoring in Electrical Engineering. In 1939 he was accepted by the original Glen L. Martin Co. as an Assembly Mechanic. After 44 years and several awards and promotions he retired in 1983 as Comptroller, Space Systems Division. Thomas always enjoyed activities with his family & friends, and his many hobbies included fishing, boating, model building, gardening along with Church and community events. He is loved by all and will be remembered always as a loving father as well as a very humble and generous man.
