Thomas C. “Tom” Radloff, 67, of Elkhart, passed away on Jan. 4, 2011, at his home following an extended illness.

He was born Sept. 10, 1943, in Richland Center, Wis., to the late Virgil and Evelyn (Young) Radloff. Tom married the former Rose Baggio on Aug. 14, 1964, in Rockford, Ill. She survives.

Surviving are his wife of 46 years, Rose Radloff; a daughter, Stephanie (Rob) Risner of Granger and his son Thomas Radloff of Elkhart; and three grandchildren, Hunter McMinn of Granger and Thomas M. and Austin G. Radloff of Elkhart. He also leaves behind a sister, Linda (Bob) Mylin of Walworth; and brothers, Johnny Radloff of Lake Geneva, Ronald (Darlene) Radloff of Austin, Texas, and Jim (Wanda) Radloff of Onalaska; and his former daughter-in-law, Connie Radloff of Elkhart. Several nieces and nephews also survive.

He was preceded in death by a sister, Shirley Walter.

Tom worked for the Gunite Corp. for more than 40 years, starting as a laborer, and was the maintenance supervisor at the time he retired due to his health. He enjoyed building and restoring old cars and drag-raced with his son for many years throughout the area. Tom was an avid Chicago Cubs fan and enjoyed going to the Blue Chip Casino to play poker. His most special times were spent with his grandchildren who he adored. He will be missed by his cat, Teela.
