EAST HARTFORD / BARKHAMSTED –ROBINSON – Thomas “Buddy” Robinson, 59, died Sunday, January 20, 2008 from complications due to lung cancer. Born February 19, 1948 in Hartford, CT; the son of Florence (DeVito) Robinson and the late Thomas Robinson. He was raised in Hartford, graduated from Hartford High School, attended the University of Hartford and spent four long years in Vietnam. Upon his return, he went to photography school in Georgia where he lived for fifteen years before his return to Connecticut. In the beauty business for thirty years, he made many friends and had customers throughout the country. He was an avid rock and blues music fan and he loved a good party. And will be missed by family, legions of friends and customers. In addition to his mother, he is survived by his sister, Alberta Turbert; his brother, Bill Robinson; nephew, Jim Turbert; and nieces, Tara Kramek, Danielle Robinson and Corri Parker.
