Theresa J. (Hickey) Rossitto, 89, of Newington, loving wife of the late Vincent Rossitto, passed away on Tuesday, November 18, 2014 at The Governor’s House Nursing Facility in Simsbury. Born in Hartford, she was the daughter of the late Albert and Sophie (Kobus) Hickey. Theresa was a resident of Newington for the past 60 years and a member of St. Mary’s Church. She worked at C.J. Springs and was assistant treasurer for CBT until her retirement. Theresa will be dearly missed by her daughters, Susan Carroll and her husband Edmund of Simsbury and Joan Deardoff of Oro Valley, AZ; her grandchildren, Brian Carroll and his wife Cindy, Brett Carroll and his wife Elizabeth, Christina Mumma and Kara Munoz; her great grandchildren, Meghan and Jackson Carroll, Allison and Austin Mumma and Emma Connell. She also leaves her special niece Janet Schonbeck and her family. In addition to her husband Vincent, she was predeceased by her sister Eleanor Sarge.
