Theresa (Tessie) F. Martin, 85 of Salisbury Township, died peacefully in the midst of family and friends, on Tuesday, May 26, 2015, at Saint Luke’s Hospice in Bethlehem. She was the wife of the late Edward J. Martin for 53 years. Born in Bethlehem, she was the daughter of the late Henry and Dorothy (Shanaberger) DeBellis. Tessie was a devoted wife, loving mother and skilled homemaker. She excelled in sewing, cooking and painting (potrait and landscape art). Tessie was a member of Incarnation of Our Lord Parish. Survivors: son, Edward J. Martin and his wife Elaine (nee, Myer) of Bethlehem; daughter, Kathleen R. Anthony, wife of Howard Anthony of Fountain Hill; sisters, Dolores “Bobbie” Martin of Fountain Hill, Dorothea “Honey” Mitman of Bethlehem Twp., and Henrietta “Etta” Wyker of Allentown; grandchildren, Matthew and his wife Megan, Erin and Rebecca Martin, Jacob, Erik, Paul, Mary Elizabeth and Samuel Anthony; great grandchildren, Emma, Tyler and Michael Martin. Tessie was preceded in death by her siblings Peter, Alphonso and Roseann.
