Theresa Grindrod, 89, of Brighton, passed away February 9, 2013 in Brighton. She was born January 11, 1924 in Westbrook, Maine to Philias and Louise (Bison) Begin. She attended Catholic Schools in Westbrook and married Wallace Grindrod on June 19, 1945 in Providence, Rhode Island.
Theresa moved to Brighton in 2004 to be close to their family. They had previously lived in Llano, Texas for 20 years and outside Howston, Texas for 10 years. Theresa was a housewife who loved shopping, dining out and crocheting. She also loved keeping her family close to her. She loved to travel; going to Central America and numerous other countries.
Theresa is survived by her children, Patricia (Brian) Cooke of Keenesburg, Carole (John) Fagan of Henderson, NV and Nancy Homeyer of Firestone, CO; sisters, Rachel Hudson of Daytona Beach, FL and Gloria (George) Kirckpatrick of Middletown, IN; eight grandchildren and 13 great-grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by both of her parents and her husband, Wallace, in January 2006.
