Rhoades1945~2020Theresa D Rhoades, age 75 of National Park NJ, where she resided with niece ReRe Corsetti and sister Betty Corsetti for the last 15 years, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, July 28th. She was born January 18, 1945 in Philadelphia PA, a daughter of the late George and Margaret Sullivan. Wife of the late James Dougherty, long time love Michael Whalen, and Joe Rhoades. She is survived by her daughters Barbara Ann Dougherty and Theresa Michelle Whalen. Her grandchildren Stephen, Brianna, Gabriella, Woodrow, Candias, Jasmine, and Michaela. Her great grandchildren, sister Elizabeth (Betty) Corsetti, and many loving nieces and nephews.Family was everything to Theresa. She was always volunteering to help out whenever she could. She was wonderfully devoted to her 10-year-old granddaughter Brianna, whom she raised since she was three months old.Theresa loved to cook and clean. She especially enjoyed trying new recipes with her nephew Billy Corsetti and her close friend and boss Linda Burns, whom she worked close with for 15 years at Linda Burns Catering.
