Theodore Watts, 88, of Middletown, loving husband of Elizabeth Watts for nearly 65 years, passed away on Sunday, March 15th at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Wilton, NH, he was the son of the late William H. and Ida (Weston) Watts. Ted lived in Vernon for twenty-three years before recently moving to Middletown, had worked at UConn for thirty years and was a WWII US Navy Veteran. He loved fishing, gardening and most of all, he loved his family. Besides his wife, Ted is survived by a son, William A. Watts and his wife, Muriel, of TN; a daughter, Margaret Beaulieu and her husband, Gordon, of CT and FL; two brothers Harold and William Watts, both of NH; two sisters, Phyllis Mazza of NH and Charlene Giella of FL; five grandchildren, James Beaulieu, Brian Watts, David Watts, Kevin Watts, and Kerry Porter; and two great grandchildren, Logan Watts and Caroline Watts. Besides his parents, he was predeceased by his son, Theodore Watts, Jr., two brothers and three sisters. The Watts family would like to thank the Staff of One MacDonough Place Residential Assisted Living for all the tender care given to Ted and would like to extend a special appreciation to Sue and Jim Beaulieu for all the special care they gave their grandparents.
