Theodore M. Sexton, 95, of Harbert, Michigan left this earthly life Saturday morning, March 29, 2014 under the loving care of his family at Hanson Hospice Center in Stevensville, Michigan.Ted was born on September 19, 1918, in Poskin, Wisconsin, one of eight children born to Stephen and Mabel (LaForest) Sexton. He grew up in New Troy, Michigan and graduated from New Troy High School.
He served his country as a navigator aboard a Bomber in the US Army Air Force during WWII. Ted earned his Business degree at the University of Indiana. On August 24, 1955 he married Irene Copp in Chicago. He was employed as a Manufacturing Representative for O’Brien – Sexton Associates of Chicago for 30 years. Ted enjoyed the peace and relaxation he found while tending to his vegetable garden.
He was an avid golfer and member of the Chikaming Country Club.Survivors include his wife, Irene, children, Susan (Mark) Strieter of Harbert and Beth Sexton (Richard Cermak) of Des Plaines, Illinois; grandchildren, Pearl, Harry and Isaac and many nieces and nephews.
