Theodore Hugh Frederick, 80, of Independence, WV, died on Wednesday, July 13, 2016, at Ruby Memorial Hospital.
Hugh was born January 19, 1936, in Independence, a son of the late Noble Ross “Pete” Frederick and Laura Hazel (Deavers) Frederick Tucker
He was a Veteran of the U.S. Air Force and the U.S. Army, where he served during the Korean Conflict. He worked over 25 years as a heavy equipment operator and upon retiring he was a truck driver for J.B. Hunt. Hugh enjoyed fishing during his free time and enjoyed his time with his grandchildren.
He is survived by two sons, Paul Allen Frederick, Gregory Lynn Frederick, both of Newburg; one daughter and spouse, Jennifer J. (Frederick) and Marvin Bolyard of Newburg; one grandson, Gregory Simon Frederick; one granddaughter, Halee Nicole Bolyard; his companion, Sandy Cummings.
