Theodore W. Gordon of Grand Junction, Colorado—Born May 12th, 1940 in Denver, Colorado—Left us on February 18th, 2017 to be with his parents William E. Gordon and Flora V. Buss Gordon Shaffer, and his sons Shawn and Duane Gordon of Commerce City, Colorado.
Ted was highly known for his wood-working skills. He was an artist (drawing & painting), he was also a certified welder. He retired from Samsonite and was also employed by Mid Continent Mining in Carbondale, Colorado. Ted lost his beloved dog Bandit in 2016 and left behind his cat Sassafras.
Ted is survived by the love of his life ex-wife Julianne K. Hallett and his daughter Wendy (Mark) Orren, and three grandchildren Brandon, Amaya, and Tristan Tunstill, all of Commerce City, Colorado. He is also survived by a sister Sherry Odell and Nephews Bobby and Mikey Odell of Parachute, Colorado.
Rest in piece from his extended family, Wade and Goldie Walker. The Johnson, Kuipers and Frenze families and many friends especially Bob (Audrey) Basher of Delta, Colorado, and Dan Erwin of Grand Junction, Colorado.
Special thanks goes out to the Doctors and Nurses at Saint Mary’s Hospital for allowing Ted to pass in peace and with comfort.
