Thelma Simpson, passed away peacefully, at age 95, on November 27, 2015 at her long-time home in Scottsdale, AZ, surrounded by her family. She was born June 4, 1920 in Laredo, Texas to George Cecil Horner and Hazel Price. She lived most her life in the Southwest (Texas, New Mexico and Arizona) and spent the last 6 years in Redmond, Washington with her family, while making annual trips back to Scottsdale in the fall and spring months. Thelma was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother, neighbor and friend. She was a tremendously strong woman whose kindness, sweetness, generosity, thoughtfulness and positive outlook will be deeply missed by all those whose lives she touched. Thelma was known for her vivaciousness, curiosity, sense of humor, and love of life. She travelled often with her family and always enjoyed an adventure. Thelma was a lifetime member of Daughters of the Nile and served her community throughout her life. She is survived by her son, Robert Sedillo, daughter-in-law Margaret Sedillo, granddaughter Angela Sedillo and grandson Matthew Sedillo (Lauren Sedillo).
