Thelma Margaret Bryson, age 70, of Seffner, FL, died Tuesday, March 21, 2006, at Brandon Regional Hospital. Born October 16, 1935 in White Plains, New York. She was the daughter of the late Ruth E. Mulligan and the late Jerimiah G. Mulligan. She was a former resident of Craigtown and Rising Sun, in Cecil County, MD for 30 years until retiring with her husband, Bruce Bryson, to Seffner, FL where she was a resident for the past 25 years.
Mrs. Bryson was a homemaker. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Mrs. Bryson’s favorite pastimes included cross stitch and sewing, collecting Garfield’s, reading and enjoying her family and friends throughout the many holidays and celebrations. She was a member of the Bible Tabernacle Church in Brandon, Florida. She was a member of the Community Fire Company of Rising Sun’s Ladies Auxiliary, Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack #143, Port Deposit, Maryland and Den Mother for Cub Scout Pack #78, Seffner, Florida. She was a journalist for the Wilmington News Journal as a feature writer. She belonged to the Red Cross and Civil Air Patrol.
Mrs. Bryson was the wife of the late, Bruce C. Bryson, who died on August 23, 1995. She was the sister of the late James J. Mulligan. Survivors include her five children, Bruce Bryson, Jr., Faith J. Lanphar, Dawn M. George, Gerald T. Bryson and Wesley W. Bryson, eight grandchildren, Jennifer and Craig Bryson, Jennifer M. Fristoe, Nathaniel C. and Nicholas C. George, Thomas V. Bryson and William C. Bryson and Richard G. Campbell-Bryson and her beloved American Husky, Blizard.
