Thelma Mae Marshall Clifton, 85, of Martinsville, VA and formerly of Ridgeway, VA died Sunday, April 3, 2011 at the Blue Ridge Rehab. Center, Martinsville, VA. She was born on May 31, 1925 in Ridgeway, VA to the late William “Buck†Lee Marshall and Birdie Brittain Marshall. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Lee Marshall and four brothers, W. Thomas Marshall, Donald Marshall, Earl Marshall and Paul Marshall. Mrs. Clifton was a member of Horsepasture Christian Church, Ridgeway, VA and retired in 1986 after 42 years service with E. I. Dupont, Inc. in the Components Lab. Surviving are her husband, Henry Raymond Clifton of Ridgeway, VA; daughter, Betty Lynn Clifton of High Point, NC; grandchildren, Kristin Jones and Steven Jones both of High Point, NC and one great-grandchild, Ellie due in June 2011.
