Thelma Lois Stant
Thelma Lois Stant, age 94, of Niceville, Fl. was called home to be with her Lord and Savior on Monday, December 09, 2013 at 8:00 a.m. at Twin Cities Hospital. She was born on April 05, 1919 in Valdosta, Georgia. She was the daughter of Grover and Dessie Williams.
She has lived in Niceville for over 50 years. Thelma was a kindergarten teacher at Postal Point Kindergarten on Eglin Air Force Base. She was a member of the American Legion, Post 221. Thelma was an expert maker of pine needle baskets, was an avid reader, and an expert at crossword puzzles.
Thelma is preceded in death by her husband, William Stant, on January 08, 2000, and her daughter, Linda Kelch, on December 29, 1982.
The family wishes to thank the staff at Crescent Park Village Assisted Living Facility in Crestview for three years of happy living and The Manor at Blue Water Bay for their care and compassion during her last illness.
