Mrs. Thelma Hannah died December 23, 2007 at Piedmont Newnan Hospital. Mrs. Hannah had resided at Newnan Hospital Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for the past eight years. Born in Heard County in 1918, Mrs. Hannah was the daughter of the late Carrie and Marshall Scroggin. After attending Cox College and North Georgia College, Mrs. Hannah taught school in the Glenloch Community. She married the late Dillard Hannah in 1938. Thelma and Dillard later worked for Nabisco and retired in Woodbury. Mrs. Hannah is survived by two children, Sue Hannah Trammell of Moreland and Selby Hannah of Wilmington, N. C. Survivors, in addition to the children, include a son-in-law, Wayne Trammell of Moreland; two grandchildren, Wesley Trammell and wife, Leigh of Moreland, and Mark Trammell of Atlanta; and three great grandsons, Dalton, Jake, and Camden, all of Moreland. She also leaves behind many nieces and nephews.
