THELMA DELORES HAYNES, 73, Deming resident passed away Tuesday July 21, 2015 at her home.
Thelma was born August 10, 1941 in Deming to Treba Warren and John Joanas. She was a homemaker and was a member of the First United Methodist Church and Beta-Sigma Phi. She married DeLloyd Haynes on June 10, 1959. Thelma served as President of the Cowbelles and had a special love for horses as well as enjoying fishing, swimming, going hunting and doing needle point. Her favorite pastime was hunting for arrowheads and collecting old bottles.
Survivors include her husband of 56 years, DeLloyd; 3 daughters, Susan of Cottonwood, Arizona, Connie of Deming, Jennifer of Las Cruces; 4 brothers; 9 sisters; 6 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, John and Treba Joanas; 1 brother and 4 sisters.
