Indianapolis – Thelma H. Shores, 94, died Friday evening at her home following a brief illness.
She was born in Fishersburg, IN to the late Robert E. and Hazel E. (Buskirk) Pettigrew. Thelma attended Wilson in Muncie. Mrs.
Survivors include a son, Dale (wife-Patrice) Shores; a sister, Anna Simmons, four grandchildren Maria Shores, Matthew (wife-Rochelle) Shores, Keith Shores, and Kevin Shores; ten great grandchildren, Charles Hobbs, Michael, Paul, Josh, Nathan, Austin, Evan, Aidan, Madison Shores and Callay Gill; a special friend, Sally Bales and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband of 61 years Paul F. Shores; one brother, Frank Pettigrew; and three sisters, Merle Curtis, Lavina Riley, and Lora Smith.
