Thelma Faulkner Emberton

Thelma (Pat) Faulkner Emberton of Sheridan, Arkansas took her journey to heaven on Tuesday, October 20, 2020. Pat was born October 7, 1930 to the late Jefferson and Ida Hanley Faulkner. She was the last sibling of 13 children.

She was a member of Little Creek Missionary Baptist Church where she had been an active member of the Ladies Sunday School Class. She and her husband enjoyed many years of fishing and camping.

Pat had sold Avon for many years and she was also a talented painter, but she was best known for being a caregiver to her son for 29 years after an accident left him paralyzed at the age of 21. She dedicated her life to loving her family. She was Mom-Maw Pat to her grandchildren, great grandchildren and great great grandchildren. Other than her parents and 12 siblings she was preceded in death by her husband of 61 years, Glen Emberton, son, Tommy Emberton, granddaughter, Lisa Cotton, grandson, Richie Cotton and daughter-in-law, Brenda Emberton.

Survivors left to cherish her memory are her sons, Jerry Emberton of Hollister, MO, Randy (Missy) Emberton and Clayton Emberton; daughter Sandra (Jerry) Cotton all of Sheridan; grandchildren, Teri (Jerry Don) Hollingshead, Tony (Rachael) Emberton, Stacy (Morgan) Fausett, Noble (Brandi) Emberton, Nolan (Laken) Emberton and Noah Emberton, Scotty Emberton; great grandchildren; Ashley (Cody) Raber, Dylan (Baylee) Hollingshead, Jake and Justin Cotton, Jacob Emberton, Emily Emberton, Andrew Fausett, Scotty (Brittney) Emberton, Jr., Chandler Emberton, Rani Emberton, Noelle Emberton, Baleigh Emberton, Ashlyn Emberton, Lane Emberton, Mariah Dimler; great great grandchildren, Cason Raber, Chanley Raber, Sawyer Hollingshead, Lennon Gaither; sisters-in-law, Reba Emberton, Elizabeth Brown, Olita (Lawrence) Allen and a host of extended family members and friends.
