TERRY W. EARL, 73, a longtime resident of Deming passed away Friday June 23, 2017 in the comfort of his home.

Terry was born August 5, 1943 in Long Beach, California to Henry and Iva (Roberson) Earl. He has lived in Deming since 1976 having previously lived in Silver City. Terry worked as a switchman and conductor for Santa Fe Railroad and retired from there in 2002. In 1992 he was awarded the Superior Performance Award by Santa Fe Railway Company. This award is given in recognition of clear superior performance which protected people and property. He was a member of the Elks Lodge, the United Transportation Association and enjoyed collecting rare and vintage coins.

He is survived by his wife Diana C. Earl of Deming; son, Jason W. Earl of Deming; daughter, Tammy Jaramillo (Donald) of Belen; and three grandchildren, Danette, Eryn, and Dylan Jaramillo.
