Teri Colleen Rollings was born on May 18th, 1950. She took the hand of her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ on November 4th, 2019 with her children and loved ones at her side. She is deeply loved by so many. Teri is one of the strongest women to ever grace this earth. She fought long and hard against the illnesses that came up against her the last few years of her life. Though our hearts are hurting at our earthly loss, we rejoice in knowing Teri is healed and whole in the arms of Jesus.
Teri is survived by her mother, Mag Stovall, her four children Roy Shatwell, Danny Shatwell and his wife Kathleen, Trina Willis and her fiancé Alfredo, Rob Willis and his wife Erin, her brother Ricky Sutton and his wife Deedy, seven grandchildren, five nieces and nephews, and many other loved ones and friends. Special thanks to her nephew, John Canady, family friend Keith Petit and the Petit family, and the Beach family for being there for Teri and for us during this difficult time.
She was preceded in death by her father, Garland Canady, her brother, Danny Canady, and her nephew Danny Wayne Canady. What a blessed reunion it must have been when she met them at the gates of heaven. Teri loved her children with all of her heart. She did everything she could even up to her last few breaths to make sure they knew they were loved.
Teri was a member of Buffalo River Baptist Church where she made many dear friends over the years. Though she could no longer attend due to her illness, she often talked about how badly she wanted to be back with her church family and how much she appreciated their prayers.
