Teri C. Drayer, 62, passed away Friday morning at her mother’s residence in Hartford City following a courageous battle with Lou Gherig’s Disease. She was born April 13, 1949, in Muncie, the daughter of Herman L. and Betty G. (Gadbury) Stephens. She attended Muncie schools and graduated from Muncie Central High School in 1967.
Surviving are her husband, Joseph C. Drayer; her children, Traci Markcum, (husband, Harry), Muncie, Kerry Drayer, (wife, Brenda K.), Ft. Wayne, and Brenda J. Drayer, (Melissa Wearley), Ft. Wayne; her mother, Betty G. Stephens, Hartford City; her grandchildren, Brittany Pittsenbarger, (fiancé, Keith Moon), Kaitlyn Pittsenbarger, and Paige Drayer; her great grandson, Kale Moon; three brothers, John Stephens, Hartford City, Jeff Stephens, (wife, Cyndi), Muncie, and Mark Stephens, (wife, Vicki), Michigan; her sister, Colleen Carsello, (husband, Phil), Tempe, Arizona; her best friend, Sue L. Taylor, Gaston; and her nieces and a nephew, Mercedez D. Stephens, Jessica Kristen and Heather Prietto, and Katrina, Joan and John Carsello.
She was preceded in death by her father, Herman L. Stephens; and her grandparents, Ross and Nada Gadbury.
