Teresa V. Smith (nee Hill), age 76 of Burlington, passed away on Tuesday January 3rd, 2016 at Samaritan Inpatient Hospice in Mt. Molly. Teresa was born in Philadelphia and had been a longtime Burlington Resident.
She spent many years working as an Inventory Control Specialist at Crowley Foods in Philadelphia then as a Lunch Aide at the Captain James Lawrence School in Burlington after retirement. In her early years, she loved to bowl and play bingo or shop till she dropped. Teresa loved to “read her dictionary” late at night in her chair and was a doting grandmother loved to play games and toys with her grandchildren. Tersa will fondly be remembered as feisty and stubborn but was a dedicated family woman who held her faith dear.
Mrs. Smith is the widow of her late husband Daniel, Sr. and is the mother of Kathleen & her husband Paul Kling, Daniel, Jr., Teresa & her husband Jerry Stine, Steven & his wife Kelly Donia, Mary & her husband Chris DiSimone and the late Colleen & her husband Alan Piatetsky. Teresa is the proud grandmother of 14 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren and is the sister of the late Mary Brenner and the late Emily Spencer. She is also survived and will be sadly missed by her beloved pets.
