Teresa Marie Barfield, 62, of Meredosia, died Sunday, Nov. 14, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
She was born Feb, 23, 1948, in Jacksonville, the daughter of Ray William and Mickey Marie Gobel Dickman. She married Roger Eugene Barfield on April 27, 1968, in Meredosia, and he survives.She is also survived by her father, Ray Dickman of Meredosia; her son, Christopher Travis Ray (Emily) Barfield of White Hall; and grandchildren Brittany and Bradley. She was preceded in death by her mother.
Mrs. Barfield was a member of the Meredosia-Chambersburg High School Class of 1966. She had worked for Capitol Records in Jacksonville, and had cared for children in her home. She also worked at The Brick in Bluffs with her good friend Shirley Hearold. She had been a member of the Meredosia Lutheran Church. Teresa enjoyed Elvis, her English Sheepdogs, cooking, and caring for others. She loved spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She also loved her stuff.
