Teresa (Flaherty) Dimond, 90, of Peru, passed away Saturday, November 24, 2018 at Heritage Healthcare Center in Peru. Mrs. Dimond was born June 12, 1928 in Peru to Frank and Viola (Linnig) Flaherty. She married William V. Dimond on June 11, 1949 in Peru. Mrs. Dimond was a member of St. Mary’s Church, Peru.
She enjoyed bowling, entering sweepstakes and crafts, especially sewing. Survivors include two daughters, Patricia Ghrist of Wapella and Kathleen (Rich) Skinner of Tonica; two sons, Michael Dimond of Indiana and William (Sharon) Dimond of Tennessee; 11 grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one great-great grandson; several nieces and nephews and a close friend, Suzie Bogaert. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William on November 18, 1995; one son-in-law, Garold Ghrist; one great-great granddaughter; one sister and two brothers.
