Edward F. “Ted” Scarbrough, 39, of Cumming, GA died on April 19, 2014. Ted was born in Atlanta on August 29, 1974, He attended Lakeview Academy in Gainesville, GA and graduated from Forsyth Central High School.
He was the first paid Forsyth County Firefighter and was a dedicated Firefighter and First Responder. Ted became a Deputy Coroner for Forsyth County and served from 2002 – 2013 under the leadership of Coroner Lauren McDonald. He owned an orthodontic lab called “Orthopride” which serves orthodontists across the country.
Ted dealt with life and death in serving the Forsyth community for many years. He had an amazing sense of humor and was loved by all.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Linda Treadway Scarbrough.
He is survived by his parents, Tom and Nancy Scarbrough of Cumming, GA; sister, Katherine (Scott) Huge of Cumming, GA; brothers, Michael (Michelle) Scarbrough of Loganville, GA, Brett (Jessica) Maddux of Athens, GA and Brent (Jennifer) Maddux of Cumming, GA; nieces and nephews, Hollis Huge, Jarrett Huge and Nick Scarbrough.
