Teddy “Ted” Ray Rippee, 57, of Twin Falls, passed away Friday, December 26, 2014, surrounded by his loving wife and family. He fought a long hard battle with ALS for 12 years but he always stayed strong and kept his sense of humor. Ted was born August 20, 1957, to Frank and Patricia Rippee. They resided in Buhl, Idaho until 1971 when he, his sister and brother went to live with his Aunt Thelma and Uncle George Swartz in Twin Falls, Idaho. He graduated from Twin Falls High School in 1975 and attended the College of Southern Idaho. He met and married the love of his life, Katie Presnell, on December 12, 1981. They moved to Buhl, Idaho and had two sons, Jason Rippee and Michael Rippee. His family meant everything to him and it showed in everything he did. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping and watching his boys in all their sports activities. He never missed a wrestling match or football game. He never knew a stranger and he was such a kind-hearted and honest man. He will be greatly missed by all who were fortunate enough to know and love him. He is survived by his wife of 33 years, Katie of Twin Falls, Idaho; a son, Jason (Katie) of Shoshone, Idaho; three grandchildren, Jack, Ella, Henry(on his way in 5 months) of Shoshone, Idaho; a son, Michael (Jess) of Boise, Idaho; a grandson, Alistair of Boise, Idaho; one sister, Debbie Moser (Cary) of Elk City, Idaho; one brother, Tom (Teresa) of Kimberly, Idaho; many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins. He was preceded in death by his parents, Frank and Patricia Rippee; one brother, Michael; and one sister, Karen.
