Ted McNutt, 93, of Russellville, MO, formerly of Moberly, died Friday evening, July 28, 2017, at Villa Marie in Jefferson City.  Ted was born November 16, 1923, in Moulton, Iowa, to George and Grace (Gwinn) McNutt.

He served his country honorably in the U. S. Navy during World War II and during the Korean War.  Ted retired as a general foreman after 43 years of service to the Wabash, Norfolk and Western, and Norfolk and Southern Railroads.

He was a member of the Moberly First Baptist Church, Moberly Masonic Lodge; receiving a 50 year pin, Ararat Shrine, Coon Creek Shrine Club, and the Moberly American Legion.

Ted married Nancy Watkins on June 26, 1949 at the Moberly First Baptist Church, and she survives.  Also surviving are his son Dr. Kent McNutt and wife Courtney; grandchildren Connor and Brenna McNutt all of Jefferson City, MO; other relatives and friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother Ira, and a sister Pearilee Dent.
