Sheets – Ted Charles, 83, of Chattanooga, TN, died Sunday, January 7, 2007. Born in Akron, Ohio, he later moved to Toledo, Ohio where he spent much of his adult life. He graduated from DeVilbiss High School in 1941 and went on to graduate, in 1947, with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Michigan. He was veteran of World War II and served in Europe in the Army Corps of Engineers. Ted was a registered professional engineer in Ohio and, when taking the exam to be certified in 1951, received the highest score in the state.
