Miss Taylor Lane Hulsey, 16, of Newnan passed away Saturday, December 13, 2014 at Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Scottish Rite. She was born August 14, 1998 in Dekalb County. Taylor grew up in Newnan and was a student at Jefferson Parkway Elementary School when she was diagnosed with brain cancer February 22, 2007 at the age of eight. She became a Christian a few months before being diagnosed and was baptized in February of 2011. Taylor enjoyed soccer, ballet, and tap. She is survived by her mother, Vicki Lane Hulsey of Newnan; grandmother, Beverly Perusse of Newnan; aunt, Karen and husband Jack Duffey of Newnan; cousins, Jack Duffey of Newnan, Leanne Duffey and husband Erik of Newnan; and the Hulsey Family. She is also survived by her grandmother, Clara Hulsey; aunt, Freida Ruvers of Tucker, GA, and, uncle, Steve Hulsey of Tucker, GA. Taylor is proceeded in death by her grandfather, R.H. “Bob” Perusse and father, Gary Wayne Hulsey.
