Tammy LeAnn Lussier, 51, of the Eagle Clan and from Red Lake, Minnesota began her journey to the spirit world on Friday, November 26th, 2021, from the Sanford Medical Center in Fargo, North Dakota.

Tammy was born on Thursday, June 18th, 1970, in Red Lake, MN, the daughter of Shelda (Gurno) and Daryl “Dash” Lussier, Sr.  Tammy was raised in Red Lake until she went off to school at the Wahpeton

Indian School, where she established lifelong friendships.  She returned home to finish out high school in Red Lake.  Tammy enjoyed traveling and lived in numerous places over the years.  Although Tammy had no children of her own, she was the BEST auntie anyone could ask for.  She always remembered birthdays and would have to celebrate them.  Tammy was very proud of having traveled the Red Road for the past three years of her life.  She had a soft spot for stray dogs, she took in many through out the years.

Tammy worked many occupations.  She was a CNA, a cashier, she worked at the casino and the trading post, she enjoyed working at the Head Start Program as a preschool aid, but her best and last job was to personally care for her mother.  We miss you already my girl…love Mom and Shauna.

Tammy is happily reunited in eternity with her husband; Larry Deroin, whom she missed and loved very much, her dad; Daryl Lussier, Sr., brother; Daryl Lussier, Jr., paternal grandparents; A. Thomas and Verna Lussier, maternal grandparents; Charles and Melvina Kelly, maternal grandma; Barbara Gurno, niece; Ambria Wind, nephews; Clinton May, Jr., Jamey May, Jeffrey Weise and Diovion Neadeau and several other family members.

Those left here to cherish her memory are her mother; Shelda Lussier of Red Lake, sisters; Shauna Lussier of Red Lake, Michelle (Clinton) May of Oklee and Marcella Torres of Minneapolis, brothers; Devon Lussier, Sr. of Minneapolis and David Wind of Red Lake, nieces; Ashley and Vanessa Cobenais, Shanae Neadeau and Tammy May, nephews; Dion Neadeau.
