After a short illness, Tammie Olson Parenteau (44) went to be with her Lord and Savior on Sunday, April 18, 2010. Born in Cottonwood, Ariz. on Nov. 20, 1965, Tammie lived in Williams her entire life. She graduated from Williams High School then attended Scottsdale Community College and Northern Arizona University.

Tammie was very active in her community, always giving back more than she received. She was a cheer coach at Williams High School and very active helping “Parents Who Care” in becoming the success it is. She was a loving and devoted mother that was always busy with every activity involving her children and family.

Tammie enjoyed working with people at The Best Western Inn of Williams, where she recently achieved her goal of becoming the General Manager. Animals were the love of her life. She loved horses, and her five dogs were always under foot. She enjoyed the great outdoors, hiking as often as she could.

Tammie also had a love for music, with a voice of an angel she will now be able to sing with the angels’ choir.

Tammie is survived by her husband of 22 years, Bud Parenteau Jr. and two children Trevor (19) and Paige (15), her grandmother Rosa Lee Olson, her father Larry Olson (Sheryl), her mother Risé McCance (Bill), her brother Eric Olson (Tracy) and their five children, Violet Parenteau, Bud and Barb Parenteau, Ed and Cheryl Sandoval and their three children, Chris and Barb May and their two children, Todd and Randi Parenteau and their two children, Jason and Amy Ishmael and their two children, and many Aunts, Uncles, Cousins, and extended family members.

Tammie was preceded in death by her grandmother Roberta Fain, her grandfather J.C. Fain, her grandfather William Nelson Olson and Uncle Robert “Bo” Fain.
