Tammey R. Salvatori, 60, of Williamsport, passed away surrounded by family Sunday, February 16, 2020 at the Gatehouse of Divine Providence Hospital. She was preceded in death by her loving husband of 37 years, Fred G. Salvatori, Sr. on November 14, 2016.

Born October 11, 1959 in Blossburg, she was a daughter of Helen M. (Andrus) Confer of Ralston and the late Samuel F. Confer, Sr.

Tammey was a graduate of Canton High School and attended St. Joseph the Worker Parish. She worked as a cook at Humdinger for 19 years and later a waitress at Donna’s Restaurant. Tammey enjoyed doing latch-hook, baking and decorating cakes for birthdays, and anything that had to do with Wonder Woman and her grandkids. Some could say Tammey’s personality was much like Wonder Woman’s where she could triumph over evil with the power of love. She battled her cancer diagnosis with great strength, and her warm, friendly, and generous personality will certainly be missed.

Surviving are four children; Trish A. Rider (Jim) of Vienna, VA, Traci H. Salvatori, Fred G. Salvatori, Jr. (Rebecca Ross), and Samantha R. Salvatori, all of Williamsport; nine grandchildren, Aiden, John, Madelyn, Jasper, Conan, Natalya, Sebastian, Hunter, and Mark; ten siblings, Diane Brown, Samuel Confer, Jr., Terry Confer, Larry Confer, Ruth Dillon, Cindy Early, Keith Confer, Penny Eberlin, Vicki Roberts, and T. Michael Confer; an adopted son, Daniel Tice; several nieces, nephews and extended family members and friends. Tammey’s family will be forever grateful for the compassionate care provided by her sister-in-law Mel.
