Tamika was the oldest of four children to the late Lizzie Mae,
Joe Mckee and John Paul O’neal. Tamika was born on January
27, 1975. She received her education from public schools, Perry
Meridian Junior High and Manual High School. She then went on
to Job Corps, where she completed several studies and received a
certificate as a nurse’s aide.
Tamika accepted Christ at an early age at Oasis of Hope Baptist

important to her. She also enjoyed traveling, cooking, hanging out
with her friends, listening to music, and being the life of the party.
She was also a very creative person who loved all types of art.
Tamika was a very outgoing person. She worked in customer

many aclidaes, including many leadership rolls and promotions
throughout her career. She also had an entrepreneur spirit where
she sold Mary Kay products and had many business endeavors.
To her little big brother (Dennis) she was the old lady with the
candy store in brightwood kids. Although Tamika was a biological
mother to three, she was also an amazing mother figure to many.
Tamkia had a heart of gold and compassion; she was resilient and
made a way out of no way.
On Monday, February 28, 2022, Tamika was given her wings and
transitioned to her heavenly life at the early age of 47 years young.
She was preceded in death by her mother, father, and stepdad,
Lizzie Holton (McKee Joe) and dad, John Paul O’neal; her son,
Shawn L. H. Williams; stepson, Elijah Johnson; grandmother,
Lillie Holton; and uncle, Adam Holton.
She leaves to cherish her memories, Daughters Shatia “Chicken”
Williams and Mia “Meme” Nichols; Grandson Giovanni Dennis
Williams; Sisters Josephine and Joann Mckee, Brother Minister
Dennis McKee Sr. (Shardawn); Nieces Janyah Denise McKee and
Nubian McKee; Nephews Dennis McKee Jr., and Devon McKee and
a host of uncles, aunts and extended family and friends.
