GENE T. GRADY, SR., a lifelong resident of Manassas died Saturday, June 14, 2003 at his home. Gene served in the U.S. Navy in Europe. He was preceded in death by his wife of 33 years, Betty Jane Grady. Survivors include four children, Deborah Grady, of San Francisco, California, Gene Grady, Jr. of Manassas, Sharon Crowder, of Yorktown, Virginia and Jeffery Grady, of Warsaw, Poland, one sister, Edna Johnson, of Mt. Airy, Maryland, three grandchildren, Benjamin, Henry and Samuel Crowder, all of Yorktown, Virginia, one nephew, Bobby Johnson, of Woodbine, Maryland and his special friend, Alice Burleson, of Fairfax, Virginia. His family remembers him as a loving husband and father. He leaves behind many friends and fond memories.
