Mrs. Sylvia Varela Islas tragically left this life on Friday, June 24, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. Her family, friends, and all who met her are deeply shocked and saddened by her passing.
Sylvia Varela Islas was born on July 28, 1960 to her father, Augustine Varela, and her mother, Petra Vavala, in Dallas, Texas. Mrs. Islas was known for being an extremely loving wife to her husband, Jesus Islas. Together, Sylvia and Jesus had four wonderful children, Veronica, Jessica, Jesus Jr., and Angelica. Sylvia loved her children so much, and she was always there to help them with anything. On top of being a wonderful wife and mother, Mrs. Sylvia was an adoring grandmother to three sweet grandchildren. To everyone she met, Sylvia was a kind example of love, and she was always a joy to by around. Everyone seemed to know Mrs. Sylvia Varela Islas and her ever-present, beautiful smile.
Mrs. Sylvia Varela Islas is survived in this life by her loving husband, Jesus Islas, Sr.; her children, Veronica Ximenez, Jessica Islas, Jesus Islas, Jr., and Angelica Islas; her grandchildren, Gianna, Amanda, and Phillip Ximenez; her sisters, Mary Varela, Linda Ramirez, and Beatrice Martinez; her brothers, Jesse Varela and Sammy Varela. Mrs. Sylvia Islas is preceded in death by her parents, Augustine and Petra Varela; her brothers, Augustine Varela, Jr., Henry Varela, Rafael Varela, Fernando Varela, and David Varela; and her sister, Celia Hernandez.
