Sylvia Straskulic, age 87, passed away in Boerne, Texas, on Saturday, October 7, 2006. Born in Cordell, Oklahoma, she was the daughter of Elmer and Mabel Rice Jackson. A longtime resident of Dimmitt, Texas, she was the member of the Baptist Church. She was a Veteran of the U. S. Army serving as a WAC during World War II. Preceded in death by her parents, husband, George Straskulic, sons, Joe and Johnny Straskulic; brother, Wayne Jackson, and sister, Aurieal Roach, Mrs. Straskulic is survived by Daughters, Mary Ann Straskulic and Anita Seiderman; Sons, Eugene Straskulic, and George Straskulic, Jr.; 12 Grandchildren; 13 Great Grandchildren; Sister, Olievene Steinmentz.
