March 15, 1922 – July 27, 2013

A strong and loving lady and mother has passed from this world to be with the beloved souls of her friends and family. She was a wonderful person and the world is a better place for having her. Sybil Watson passed peacefully , July 27, 2013 at Vista Verde Manor, Boerne, at the age of 91. She is survived by sons James and wife, Suzanne, Michael and wife, Suzanne, and Jeffery Christoff and wife, Mary; Seven grandchildren; and Three great grandchildren. Since retiring from the Air Force Civil Service, Sybil volunteered extensively in her community last helping at the Boerne Library with book binding among other ways. She enjoyed quilting, sewing, and other needle work. She was always sewing and making the grandkids beautiful blankets or stuffed toys – she was a exquisite seamstress. She loved to travel with her husband Jack Watson (passed in 2003) for more than 20 years in a recreational vehicle covering all 50 states, some in Canada and Mexico. Sybil was a strong advocate of her Scottish heritage. She traveled to Scotland to learn more about her Sutherland Clan and imparted its values of courage and honor to her family.
