Daughter of the late Jack and Jane McNutt, Suzi was the beloved wife of John Pena, Scottsdale, AZ and the devoted mother of two sons, Jack Hannum (Jennifer) of Phoenix and the late Craig Pena. She was the proud grandmother of Ethan and Alyssa Hannum and is also survived by sister, Gail Littler (John). Suzi graduated from El Paso High School and attended Loretto Academy and UT El Paso. As the mother of two young sons, she was very actively involved in their school and many sports activities. She loved to fish and was often the only one catching anything. She was an avid golfer who enjoyed several holes-in-one. She was a member of the Arabian Horse Association and loved her Raja and Bo Bo. She and John owned Pena Lincoln Mercury in Las Cruces, NM. She greatly enjoyed working for 14 years as assistant to the Golf Pro at Gainey Ranch Golf Club in Scottsdale, AZ. She spent the last 3 years working as a secretary for the Chapman Auto Center/CAG Finance. After losing her son, Craig, to kidney disease, Suzi became, and remained, an advocate for the Arizona Kidney Foundation. Suzi was a gentle, kind and loving, generous soul. She extended a gracious welcome to her beautiful home to family and friends alike. Her keen sense of humor, infectious laughter and delicious meals were enjoyed by all. Even her beloved pets thrived on her home cooked pet foods. Always beautifully dressed and groomed, Suzi was fun and easy to be with, a bright spot in the lives of all who knew her. Her nieces and nephews adored her. She will be very much missed. Rest in peace, dear little Suzi.
