Susanne L. MiddlewoodBeloved mother, daughter, and friend Susanne Leigh Middlewood’s life didn’t come to an end with her death. Sue passed away on Thursday, August 4, 2022 at the age of 55 after a courageous battle with ovarian cancer. In her final days she was surrounded by loved ones who will continue to honor her legacy by living their lives to the was born to Ralph and Ester Corbin on November 24, 1966 in Detroit, was a graduate of Kimball High School in Royal Oak and worked as a secretary at Michigan School for the Deaf for many enjoyed the outdoors and always looked forward to kayaking and visiting the beach. She liked to read thriller and suspense books and found joy in attending Flint Spiritual Church. Most of all she loved spending time with family and is survived by her children, Erik Middlewood, Alexandra Middlewood-Gomez (Frank Gomez), and Hayden Middlewood; mother, Ester (Culpepper) Corbin; lifelong friend Susan Antosh; and other loving family and was predeceased by her father, Ralph Corbin; and brother, Michael Corbin.
